It’s Wednesday morning and still dark outside as I do my cliff-hanger impersonation trying to see if it has snowed. It has! Unfortunately I could not take advantage of the snow on that morning but I was going to make the most of it on the Thursday, as the weather forecast predicted more snow!
Thursday morning, same place, same time, the same stunt. NO SNOW!!! So I decided to take my new tripod (ah yes I broke the old one high up on the cliffs) and just walk along the coast and to see what I could find.
It snowed off and on the entire day, but never settled. It wasn’t only the weather that teased me on this day, but my peregrine pair made an appearance flying by ten meters from where I sat. They then patrolled the cliffs harassing pigeons, well out of range of any lens I had on me that day. Ah well at least the tripod is brilliant (if a bit heavy). |
