Karl Andre Terblanche is a Namibian Nature Photographer currently based in the United Kingdom. The main emphasis of his work is centred on Namibia and more specifically the Namib Desert where he grew up. When not cooped up in the office editing images and typing away at his keyboard, Karl is to be found in the Namib Desert seeking the wonders it has to offer.
Karl’s work has appeared in numerous international publications and books, including The Mail On Sunday, The Guardian, DK Books, The Observer, Le Figaro, Flamingo, Outdoor Photographer among others.
His Fine Art Collection of Images is currently on display in contemporary art galleries both in the UK and Namibia. Karl also undertakes Commissions and Assignments.
Whilst out and about on assignments and photographic trips, Karl is happiest roughing it. Camping, hiking, catching flights on a microlite and climbing mountains are all part of the photographic process. The subjects’ welfare always receives the utmost consideration on any photographic venture. Subject first - photo last!
All of Karl’s images are available to purchase as prints or for commercial licensing. For further information regarding commercial use, please contact us.
